I need advice for the wall color and window treatment?

I have a couch and a chair as red Bordeaux. I have an area rug (size Room) in a rather traditional pattern of red burgundy, tan, gold and some turquoise blue. My forest is dark mahogany. My walls are currently a light beige with milk chocolate trim, and doors are chocolate brown. my current window treatments are Roman shades in a Paisley is shades of tan, brown, red and blue (I made). I'm thinking in a clear turquoise blue walls and a darker shade of turquoise color shades Roman shades. Room is small. I'm trying to move from a slightly traditional look to some contemporary look. Any suggestions or criticism?

play with the viewer Sherwin Williams colors to find something you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, in my humble opinion. I like how their color palette is presented, I like you can search by color family and color name, the "paint" the rooms look more realistic, and suggests coordinating color schemes. You can, literally spend hours: http://www.sherwin.com/visualizer/ I think a gray wall as "Gibraltar" (# 6257) would look great with the curtains turquoise. In my humble opinion, if you were to make two shades of turquoise would be a bit much. You can also take a photo of your house and upload it to the makeover gallery on this website: http://www.roomvues.com/ You can get color suggestions and go to Photoshop them in their room so that you can get an idea than it will look like.
