Can I use a deck as thick wool carpet on a porch?
I have a rug that used to be in our game room and has a bit of a blur already. I would hate to just throw out because it is quite nice. I'm doing the screened in patio area into an art outdoor play space for my children and I wondered if I could use the carpet down there? What dangers are there to do this, if any?
Not dangerous, but not a good idea. Materials Indoor carpet can not stand the elements and even a porch, the rain still get there. Most retail locations polypropylene carpets are so beautiful and soft, is difficult to say they are for outdoor use. They are resistant to sun and clean simply hose them off. I bought mine but Grandinroad Frontgate catalog catalog offers a choice like this and I see emerging in other places too.
