How to keep a rug laying flat on the carpet?
I have a large Oriental rug that is on wool Berber carpet. I can not do so flat … remains until clusters. There was a problem in my old apartment, where he had hardwood floors, but in the mat that keeps happening. Any advice?
Double sided tape works very well. The rug on carpet is not a great idea, but doable. You can find double-sided tape at hardware and put it back where one side adheres to the carpet and the other adheres to the carpet. Velcro also works great but you would have to "screw down" Velcro on the floor and turn the top of the carpet. Try double sided tape, and if nothing else, duct tape is the answer. Ugly, but it works.
